An Anusara Yoga Training

16 Hours

The Sacred Pause — Anusara Yoga Training for Retreat & Renewal (15 Hours)

In a fast-moving, high-pressure world, The Sacred Pause offers a deliberate opportunity to slow down, listen deeply, and restore clarity and connection. This 15-hour Anusara Yoga training is designed for yoga teachers and dedicated practitioners who value renewal as an essential, skillful practice.

Facilitated by Christina Sell and Noah Maze, this 3-day immersion blends retreat and training in a cohesive, practice-based format. Participants should come prepared for long-form sessions with breaks throughout, engaging in a balanced rhythm of movement and stillness, contemplation and interaction through workshop-style asana, guided inquiry, reflective practices, and collegial dialogue.

Across the three days, Christina and Noah will teach workshop-style asana classes and facilitate structured teacher development sessions that emphasize clarity, precision, and effectiveness in communication. Participants will actively refine their teaching through clear verbal cueing, demonstration, observation, activation drills, partner work, hands-on assists, and progressive sequencing strategies.

Newer teachers will learn to use a practical class-planning template that organizes themes, alignment principles, and peak-pose development, while also offering strategies for responding skillfully in real time. More experienced teachers will benefit from nuanced discussion and application of foundational methodologies designed to expand, refine, and deepen their existing skill sets.

Asana sessions emphasize unhurried exploration of the Universal Principles of Alignment™, cultivating embodied listening, nervous-system resilience, and sustainable practice. Throughout, participants will explore how the sacred pause sharpens perception, clarifies choice, and supports longevity in both teaching and daily life.
