A 3-Day Teacher Training Intensive with Christina Sell and Noah Maze
Thoughtful asana practice is both an art and a discipline. It is built through clear intention, intelligent sequencing, skillful observation, and a willingness to explore with curiosity and consistency.
This three-day intensive offers an in-depth study of the Anusara Yoga principles and practices that create meaningful, transformative asana experiences. Together, Christina Sell and Noah Maze will explore how the Universal Principles of Alignment®, progressive sequencing, and purposeful teaching strategies work together to support both personal practice and professional development.
Throughout the weekend, participants will investigate how to build classes that are physically intelligent, educationally sound, and deeply engaging. Rather than approaching asana as a collection of individual postures, we'll explore it as an integrated learning process in which every pose, transition, and teaching choice contributes to a coherent and inspiring whole.
This highly interactive intensive combines lecture, demonstration, practice, and collaborative learning in a collegial environment where questions, experimentation, and shared inquiry are encouraged.
Participants will explore:
Applying the Universal Principles of Alignment® across a wide range of asana families
Progressive sequencing strategies that prepare students for increasingly complex postures with clarity and confidence
Intelligent use of standing poses, backbends, inversions, arm balances, twists, and forward bends within cohesive class design
Methods for developing strength, mobility, stability, and resilience through progressive practice
Observation skills that help teachers recognize patterns and respond effectively to individual students
Teaching language that inspires exploration, confidence, and embodied understanding
Creative approaches to adapting practices for different experience levels while maintaining the integrity of the sequence
Throughout the training, Christina and Noah will share the practical insights, teaching methods, and sequencing principles they have developed through decades of study, practice, and teacher education. Participants will not only deepen their understanding of sophisticated asana but also strengthen their ability to create classes that inspire curiosity, cultivate skill, and foster lasting growth.
Whether your goal is to refine your personal practice, or elevate your teaching, this intensive offers an opportunity to study in a community of dedicated practitioners who value precision, creativity, and lifelong learning.
Join Christina and Noah for three days of dynamic practice, thoughtful conversation, and collaborative exploration as we celebrate the art of teaching, the joy of practice, and the transformative possibilities of intelligent yoga.
