Yoga Therapeutics Training with Doug Keller

This immersion with Doug Keller explores how yoga can support optimal health through the integrated relationship of breath, movement, fascia, joint freedom, and functional mobility. The training brings together therapeutic asana, practical anatomy, breath-centered movement, and the deeper principles of pranayama and yoga philosophy to show how vitality is maintained through the whole-body experience of breathing and moving well.

Rather than treating breath and movement as separate practices, the immersion examines how fascial lines, joint mechanics, posture, balance, and respiratory efficiency work together in everyday movement and in yoga practice.

Doug also places these practices within the larger context of the yoga tradition. The training explores how the hatha yoga understanding of prana informs asana, pranayama, mudra, drishti, and meditation, helping practitioners connect the therapeutic and spiritual dimensions of practice without losing practical clarity.

This immersion is designed for yoga teachers, yoga therapists, experienced practitioners, movement educators, bodyworkers, health professionals interested in yoga-based therapeutic approaches, and dedicated students who want a deeper understanding of breath, mobility, and healthy aging.

Doug Keller has been teaching full time in classes, workshops, and trainings for 23 years worldwide, after 14 years of study and practice, and after completing a Master's degree in philosophy and teaching at a college level at Fordham University. His yoga journey includes practicing in Siddha Yoga ashrams, intensive training in the Iyengar and Anusara methods, and nearly a decade of teaching in the U.S. and abroad.
